About Me

My name is Becky Wandell and I am a teacher, curious explorer, and citizen of the world. I started blogging in 2018 when I was a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador. This experience helped embed my love for connecting with people, integrating into their cultures, and saying "yes" to every invitation. Since that opportunity, I've continued to volunteer and slow-travel through other countries. This Blog is my platform to share with you an honest account of all I am living, learning and experiencing. And with my readers at my side, I always feel a little more brave for the next adventure. My hope is that my stories inspire you to learn about others, consider new perspectives, and dream of taking flight on your own. Happy Reading!
